I used my truck almost exclusively to haul my slide in camper so it spends a lot of time just sitting, especially during the winter months. I'm wondering what sorts of things I should be doing to keep it healthy with all of this down time. I'm sure that taking it for a drive occasionally would be a good start, but during the winter it is virtually impossible to move it from where it is parked. I do keep a battery tender on it to keep the batteries up. Any suggestions ?

Winterize fuel, Remove batteries and keep charged inside if you like, and jack up and store weight off tires. If it is really cold and you want to start once in a while use block heater overnight before. Put in multiple of sources of MOUSE PROTECTION, inside and out.

^^^That's great advice!
As for your fuel treatment, I've had great luck with PRI-D (treatment/stabilizer) and Biobar JF (Biocide) treatments. I treat all my diesels and bulk diesel with zero issues

I have Battery Tenders for all of my vehicles and they really keep the batteries in great condition. My truck was in storage most of 16, no electric, and I used a small solar charger, on the dash, and it did surprisingly well.

I had cheap solar tender from Harbor plugged into my Tahoe and it shorted out and killed the batery.

Mine sits because it isn't a "Daily" Driver....All the advice here is good, But nothing beats just going out for a stretch on the highway for 30-50 miles every week or so if possible...
Keeps seals in shape and burns off any condensations that have collected internally....

Mine is no longer my daily driver, but I take it out for a romp every two weeks, and try to do at least 100 miles. I think a diesel wants to run. Usually I drive it to work, 110 to 130 round trip. Besides it’s still just fun to drive.

Mine loves a few thousand mile vacation runs. They love to work.
