I have a 2003 auto 2500. I know my trans is going to need to be replaced but today I had a squealing noise coming from the rear. I check all the brakes, rotors and check my diff. Found nothing wrong but the noise is still there. What's else could it be and can a bad trans take out the rear diff. I notice it gets worse when I turn left. Need help!!!

bearing or bushing going out. Check right rear axle first at wheel. Start simple first looking for oil seeping at end, shiny metal, hot spot. Then work in towards drive line components. (tranny wont take out a differential unless it is so bad its banging gears, pretty much not drivable, or it is so built you can pull a 2000 rpm hole-shot on stock drive train)

noise is very hard to track some times, I"d also check the front end, if noise is only there in a left turn turn I'd suspect the right front wheel bearing
