is it 1 singular clunk? If so I'd say you need to tighten the piss outta the track bar. Use an impact.

ive got the same clunk ive got all new everything bearings balljoints, tracbar, i dunno where mines coming from

If its a 4x4 could be u-joint in front axle.

I also put a gear box on my 96 and still had problems. Took box back and got another one and it was fixed. Sometimes the new parts come bad.

OP,

Had something like that turned out to be the control arm bushings were shot. Something to look at too.

I have clunks on bumps too. New shocks, new track bar, new ball joints, sway bar end links, steering shaft, steering shaft bushing, control arms and bushings, 4th gen steering. Only thing I can think of is the u joints or wheel bearings.
