hi I m new to the form and would like some info on the lorenz 2.25 say a way system. dont hear to much about lorenz suspension, just carli and kore,any info would be great

Sean Lorenz makes a fine product that will add a good amount of performance to your truck. However I personally do not care for Sway-a-way shocks in less than a 3'' diameter. I have not run them on my truck but I know a couple guys that have and they have had issues with the seals leaking oil as well as rust. Bilstein, King and Fox make a better shock. The Bilstein 2.0(7100s) will perform and last much better.

I would look at Carli, Thuren, and Kore as well.

I've used sway away in some other projects, and they worked good, but they rusted and had seal issues. Like Ban said, the ones below the 3.0's are junk. I would look Carli or Thuren over Lorenz.

Ditto on the rust. You can't go wrong with Thuren or Carli.

I say look at Carli also! I had Lorenz on my '05 truck (before I educated myself) & switched to Carli Suspension. Though Lorenz is better than stock.. :thumbsup:

Coils are coming in February to complete the parts. He's got his own minipaks now. Give him a call. He'll return it in short order. The guy prefers discussion over typing.

I cant say much about their suspensions but I have a set of lorenze swaybar endlinks and will say I'm pretty happy with them.

But all out down and dirty Carli is about the best performace system that you can just bolt on... I'd go with the Carli, and bilstiens.. I'm not to fond of the fox shocks know they make good stuff I just haven't had very good luck with them...

I have a Lorenz setup, and don't waste your money. After only about 20k miles, most of the Sway away shocks are blown, and nearly *every* piece of suspension from Sean is rusted and looks it's from a swap truck from the 50s. I should have listened to others when they said go with the others, but I was dumb and didn't.
