What are your thoughts, The local dealer is high on them. I am looking for "set it and forget it". Don't care for tons of increases, want to stay mostly stock. BD tech said this has a 50hp/80tq at the rear and won't ever get my egt's too high.
Thanks in advance for advice

Why not just reset your Smarty to the lower lvl for economy, I have a Jr and had it set on SW1 and was gettin 17 mpg around town drivin like a person not someone who stole it. Keep it under 2000 rpms when pullin away from lights and do the speed limit. If I put my foot in it some I would get 16.5 mpg. Why pay more money for a another programmer.
Havent bought the smarty yet, just debating between the two. My dealer said the jury was still out if the Smarty was too hard on the trucks somehow affecting durability and longevity.
Thanks
Lusty
Okay, I have had the Jr. for about a year know and have had no problems. If you feel more at home with the BD then that's what you should get. I thought you already had the smarty.

LOL, your dealer said the BD was less agressive than a Smarty?
Ive heard of way more people roasting parts with a Bully Dog than pretty much any other box/programmer...

My .02, id much rather have a Smarty, and Ive had both(in addition to an Edge Juice/Attitude too)
Its interesting what the opinions of local dealers are. That's why I asked here. I have heard nothing but good about Smarty, but this caught me off guard.
Thanks for the help,
Lusty

BDs roast ECMs not hard parts:lol4: JK, they will both break stuff if you drive like a fool on high settings.
