I wanted to know if there are any HUGE problems anyone has had right around 300,000 on an 01. If you could PM that would be great thanks

At 300,000 miles make sure the price is really right. You can expect a large number of maintaince issues at this milage. Owners tend to let regular items slide when getting rid of with that milage. If you are mechnacially inclined and the price is CHEAP, it would be O'K.

He is asking about 9,500 for it and he said its in pretty good shape. Between my friends and I we can fix just about anything I just want to make sure ill be getting my moneys worth

yea i would really prefer less miles but im having a hard time finding the 24v with a six speed

Dang that seems kinda high for a 300,000 mile truck.

At 300k miles the engine may be good, but the rest of the truck will be starting to show its age.

The 6-speed is over rated in my opinion, i have one and would prefer a 5-spd when not towing.

:ditto: oyu can find them for that with a lot less miles. Be patient and wait for the truck you really want :thumbsup:

wayyy to much for a truck with 300k. i only paid a little more for mine with 60,000 miles still in new condition
