Im sorry if this is posted in the wrong area, But i dont see a general discussion for 05-06.Im looking into buying a 04-06 2500 soon, but im kinda new to dodge diesels. What are the differences between these years? Also I was just trying to figure out what some of the common issues with the dodges, and things i should look for when purchasing. I have been reading through these forums a lot and what i have found so far seems to be mostly lift pump, transmission, and injector issues (due to water in fuel). I honestly will just put some money aside and plan on eventually putting an aftermarket transmission in it. But is there a way to check the lift pump and injectors without tearing into the truck?
