Anybody have any feedback on a suncoast tc and vb? I also would like more power than what the banks six gun will make. I would love any suggestions. 07 2500 4x4,5.9, banks six gun, banks exhaust, gutted cat, home grown cai,
Suncoast makes some very good transmissions. They have race transmission in some very fast trucks.
If you make more power then banks a smarty is a very popular programmer on this site. Quadzilla and edge make good products if you want to change on the fly.
I had a full suncoast tranny and triple disk TC in my 02 ford.I loved the combo but the triple disk did hurt off the line acceleration(it also had a lower stall) but once going the TC was very efficient and it shifted great with really low temps even when towing.I dont know if you can get a TDTC in a lower stall to help the off the line power but that would have made it perfect for that truck.I havent been in a CTD that had a built tranny.
Stall speed depends on what you're running for a turbo and what the application is.
Racing you want a really high stall to help you light off a big turbo.
Daily driving you want a little bit lower stall and a tad smaller turbo.
Towing you want the lowest stall and smallest turbo. Provided that you're pushing the power to live with the low stall.
Wait, what was the question?
I have no problems with my Suncoast tranny, not very relevant though. Don't loose the bill of lading they send you with the transmission...
