I have an 06 6 speed 3800 valair dd clutch and intake, exhaust, head studs, air dog II 165, sump and that is it for rite now. More to come when i get some more cash. Just looking mainly for opinions on where to get it from. I want the dsp5 switch as well. Turbo possibly twins and a modified cp3 and tips are in the future. I am shooting for 600-650 horse which should not be too difficult. Thank you for your time.

I'm not sure if the switch is available yet. Look into Cummins Tuner, great customer service and tuning. Anarchy Diesel is good so I hear as well. You could also go the route and purchase the Flashscan V2 and be able to be tuned by anyone and once you feel comfortable enough you could potentially tune your own truck.

There is just so many options, I know there is a lot of good ppl tuning. On the other hand i am sure that there is a few that do not know what they are doing. I would like to get it tuned and maybe tune in the future myself. Since mine is a basic stock build i should be able to go with any well known tuner and be ok. Just a lil nerve racking. Blew up my 12 valve due to an improper mechanic doing the timing. Nothing like paying someone to blow up your tk for you.:banghead::banghead:

I haven't seen or heard anything bad about the tuners mentioned. Just make sure whoever you go with you get the V2 tuner if you think you want to do tuning yourself in the future. The AutoCal is less expensive but it doesn't allow you to do your own tuning or use tunes from multiple tuners if you want to try a new tuner. I chose the AutoCal and I still think it was the right chose for me.
