I have two diesel dodges one is a 99 & the other is a 01 , the 99 has a edge EZ & I want to put it on my 01 Edge says it wont work , I have read in the classafied section here they make adaptors ,Who makes them & how do I contact them ?:confused013:

if edge says it wont work, they are likely right, the adapters they generally talk about are for the 01 to 02, because of the different map sensor plugs,
I remember reading that 99-00 and 01-02 each use different voltages (99-00 is .5volt, and 01-02 was 1volt, ) againg I could be wrong

This will not work due to the map sensors being completly different from the two. The way they read is different not just the plugs

Thanks two you both for the answers , I have read in the parts section they say there a adapter for them & one guy say edge says they can make him one :confused013:edge gave me the same answer you both did , I'am going to call them on monday to see if the edge with adatude from a 03 will adapt to my 01 , guy here has one for $400 complete

Sensors are completly different, just sell it and get the right one, and a 03 edge for sure wont work they are completly differnt systems
