I'm looking for a heavy duty, thicker,SFI rated flex plate for a 92 dodge Cummins .44663201 is the engine #.I would like to pay with Visa if possible.Cummins in Canada can't get one and they don't even have a listing.I've phoned three different tranny shops,B.D.,ITS,no help.If you have what I need Ph.250-423-4523 or email. Thanks Steve.

Did you check eBay and PATC? PATC sells quite a few of them on eBay.
I phoned PATC this morning. They used to carry the older 1st gen flex plate but not any more.
2nd gens use the same plate. I linked one in the other thread from EBAY. They're only $100 for an SFI.

Yes I tried that.Hard to deal with,I tried to get some confirmation with numbers to make sure I was getting exactly what I needed and they said visa # first,I don't think so.D&E said they have one.The tech said we may have to change out our torque converter due to the extra thickness of the flex? Thanks for the info.

Called them, they no to 1992 and said the 1994 probably wouldn't fit.I know you guys say it will?Thank for the help.
Yes, the thicker second gen flex will fit (same with the SFI)

I don't know why PDR don't have it. I got mine from there. You could also use the Cummins item. Do you know the part number? I have it.
Not all aftermarket plates for second gens will fit in the first gen. A stock second gen plate fits into a first gen... But some aftermarket second gen plates, like the Suncoast, will not fit into a first gen.
start a new thread in the "Request a Quote" forum and i am sure our sponsors can get you a great deal on one :thumbsup
