What is your truck doing to lead you to think you need a PCM?

Initial start up of the ecm does not sequence in cold weather. No charge, no bulb test no intake heaters. The unit itself is not turning on. Checked ALL grounds, sensor grounds, imput voltages and output voltages. There is a contact within the ecm that fails when the unit itself is cold. Put a heater in the fender well next to it and in about 10 minuts, it works. I troubleshot this problem for about 15 man hours of looking at schematics and tearing apart wiring harnesses. Finally i determined it was the ecm, played a little musical ecms from a friends 1st gen and it hasnt done it since. But he wants it back so now i gotta find my own.
