Why, what size tires are you hoping to stuff in there?

1 reason to clear 35 or 37 with it fully compressed and turning without rub

I think arms for a 3 inch lift move it 1.5 forward

Your 35's will only rub the control arms on stock wheels.
I think CA's for 2-3" leveling kits are only ½" longer than stock or there abouts, certainly no where near 1½".

Yeah carli arms are only .5 inches over stock

do most lifts 3"-5" come with slightly longer arms to push the axle forward?. i know once u hit 6" its better to go long arm.. just curious about short arms..
