I like the look of long arms but only have the truck on a 2" level. I know Tuff Country made a long arm upgrade kit but can't buy it any more and it was over 1k. If I had some body say CPP where I'm gonna get traction bars made, he makes tubular control arms btw, make me a custom set for the lowers it would be a lot less. My question is this will it work? Can I put a "long arm" type lower control arm on a truck with only a 2" level kit?

I had a custom long arm kit made by Extreme Articulation. Very beefy!!! 2" 1/4" wall. My long arms are 52" long. But they also make adjustable short arms that go in the factory mounting locations. You can then move your axle further forward to clear bigger tires. They also have a facebook page that shows customers rides. What you are looking for, with adjustable upper and lower control arms will be $450. You'll like their products!

Check out IronMan Offroad. They made my long arms for my jeep. I just contacted them about making the same style for my Dodge. They make them with johnie joints on the axle end and rubber on the body end for flex and noise reduction. They are adjustable from stock to 8" of lift. As for mounting them to the frame I ordered weld on mounts that I will fab into another x member before I install them.
