Been looking for this for a while with no luck.

Has anyone gone from a load range E to D and measured the impact on mileage if all things were equal. I am thinking that a higher PSI tire will flex less and produce better mileage if all things are equal and that includes weight and dimension.

Many guys on here talk about impact of bigger tires, but once you go past a certain size, E are hard to find....so I am thinking that a softer tire is contributing to the loss of mpg and the increased weight is also negatively impacting it. I have another thread on in regards to the weight.

Just trying to get at what is happening....too many times many variables are changing at the same time so it is impossible to know which is doing what.
