Most of these truck's problems is the grounds. BTDT
There is a ground to the frame, driver's side in front. outside of frame EZ to see
It is a pee-pour one as they use a nut plate for the fastener.
The best cure for these is to redo all the grounds and weld bolts or studs to the frame for the grounds to be fastened to.
If you peruse these threads you will find a plethora of problems with mostly the same answers that fixed them.

To make these things work, if they have seen ANY salt,
you need to provide an actual wire path to the Neg side of the battery and not rely on bodywork for the ground system
Also
The ends have to be cut off back to fresh wire or better yet replace with tinned wire and ends .
As it all will be green and pussie-like gangrene and not conducive at all.

I will gues you moved the wiring around enough to make a ground work better.
look at the right front top of shock , lots of them wear a hole on the harness right there.

Sir,- you are the one having problems -all we can do is make some recommendations
These trucks become very hard starting with too much pressure.
10 lbs is purrfect .
For a given size of pipe, more pressure means just that, not more volume.
Do as yu wish

Nope is true i said a size or X =S x P is v
It is also work involved (heat)
A size of pipe will only flow so much B4 it becomes just Pressure.
That is how an oil field engineer explained it to me . (fluid mechanics)
IOW a 3/8 pipe will only flow so much even with more pressure.
Then there is pressure drop, which does not matter here.
Dont kill me, I am just the messenger

This is why I like dealing with people that actually rebuild the pumps.
Directly.
With no middleman to deal with, you either get an honest answer or not and learn to trust or not.
With a middleman?
Who knows ....
The blame is shifted back and forth
The middleman gets told by the rebuilder he will not get a wholesale price if he does not buy enough.
Or some other crap-. Like it is on him to take the hit in the cash drawer or not .
This makes the sellers in the middle a little reticent to go to bat for the customer
If they are not going to prorate or adjust the price on the pump, you can yank the spool out yourself and inspect it as it is not difficult
