after 200000 miles on the deletes today the truck goes into the limp mode ,and today was our first snow fall ,I cleaned all the plugs but still limp mode doesn't have a tuner it has a black box on the frame that all the sensers are plugged in . my guess is that something got wet . I just cant afford a high price tuner right now being laid off

today my truck went into the limp mode again ,it only does it when there is snow ice and water on the road , it has a black box on the frame that all the 02 sensors are plugged in , truck runs great till that happens ,I try to blow dry all the plugs and the box it didn't work last time it happen it was fine .this is only the second time in a year . and I know I need a tuner ,but right now I been laid off for 3 months ..any one have an idea what it can be ,,thanks

Mine would go into what I thought was limp mode and I threw a lot of money and parts at it! Turns out all it was was loose injector tube nuts. Check out thread (limp mode after deletes and tune) and see if you are having the same problems.

Wrap all the exposed connectors in plastic and zip tie them off. Dielectric grease should help too..
