Light bar hook up?

Has anyone hooked up there led light bar to come on with high beams? I rarely use my high beams and if I did I would use the light bar so I'd like to hook them up together.

I haven't done it. But thought about it. It would super easy. Just use the high beam wire to activate a relay, but if u have DTR lights they use a low voltage on the high beam as running lights.
After it was all said and done. I decided it was so easy to just out it on a switch. That the trouble to get it to work just wasn't worth it. And you never know when u wil need high beams only

Pulling wires to a switch is pretty easy and there's lots of places to mount a switch. Or just tap the high beam wire. Make sure to use a relay too.

Nothing to it. Run a relay with the solenid line going from the highbeam lead through a switch. Run the switched side of the relay directly to the battery. The switch is optional but is a nice to have as sometimes you don't want the driving lights on but still want high beams.
I don't use fog lights so I wired mine into the fog light wiring, that way I'm able to turn on and off with the factory fog light switch .

That's a good idea!

If you're going to tap the highbeams and have DRL's as mentioned you'll have an issue with it.

You'll need to either install with a switch so you're lightbar doesn't come on with the DRL's, or use a second relay tapping the parking lamp circuit to power the relay that you tap into the highbeam circuit. That way power is only fed to the relay for your lightbar when the parking lamps are on and not when your DRL's are on.
dont know where yall are located but that might interfere with getting your state inspection
