i was going to use a holly blue pump for a pusher pump on my 94 , do you NOT use the factory lift pump any more or do you plum it to the lift pump. and what is the PSI of the fuel set at on the regulator i need to install??? thanks for your help. :w: (if it was gas i would know what to do) :thumbsup:thumbsup

No answer but my question is why?
The stock mechanical lift pump is very reliable and will easily support 800hp.
I see no reason to downgrade to an electrical pump.

:agree2: You would have to have a pretty rowdy engine to exceed the 55 GPH provided by the stock lift pump.

I am installing a raptor 150 that bypasses the lift pump and fuel heater for one reason only(that and it has a lifetime warranty and easier to replace). that area of the fuel system is notorious for air leaks. as far as the stock lift pump providing more than enough fuel, people have got in excess of 450-500hp with them, but i wonder if they are starving any of the cylinders doing that?

At 55 gph the lift pump will support a ton of power, no starving. The real bottleneck in the stock system is the fuel filter at 17 gph.
