okay so I have a 2001 24v that is almost completely stock and it ran great and I went to go put a brand new fass lift pump on it and now it wont start and Its spitting back code p1689. what do I do?

if it was running ok before the fass install, make sure you have everything install properly (fass relay,fuse, etc.) also make sure you have fuel at your injectors, go from there. Like stated before, K.I.S.S....its usually something simple:thumbup:

Also I would highly suggest a set of gauges at a minimum as far as mods go it should be first. Fuel, boost, and EGT, as well as trans temp if it's an auto will be beyond helpful in diagnosing issues with these trucks. The up front may seem slightly expensive but you will thank yourself later when your not having to throw way more at it to fix it.

Ended up charging batteries and cleaning and changing remakes terminals. The ip had no fuel in it. Primed it and injectors and truck is starting better then ever now. Gonna keep checking the pump getting gauge for it just got to find the right ones. Thanks everybody for the input
