I have a airdog lift pump to install and since I plan on deleting stock fuel filter can I put it in that spot? I know I'll have to make custom hoses and brackets. Would there be to much vibration attached to the engine? Has anyone already done this? Thanks.

I would not want an electric motor on the side of a hot, vibrating Cummins. They did this on the early VP44 trucks, guess what? pumps died, killing VP44's with them. The fix? they put a pump in the tank. (or aftermarket... ahh I miss my mechanic fuel boss

just put it on the frame like normal people also.. why make filter changes harder on yourself? "come-on-man"

Not to mention, I think you want the suction side of the pump as close to the source (Tank) as you can get it. Not sure how much the pump would like drawing from the father distance. IDK, maybe it doesn't matter, just what's in my head.
