i have a 2019 cummings 3500 single rear wheel cab and chassis. i am getting ready to put a lift on it.
this is a work truck not a toy. Is there a difference in kits between the cab and chassis' vs. a regular 3500?

Any pointers or suggestions on lifts would be appreciated. Also only going up 4"

Yes, there is a difference.

Are you looking to level it out, or actually lift it? How much of a lift are you looking for? These trucks are already pretty tall, so as a work truck, the higher you go, the less useful it tends to be depending on the work you are doing with it

I'm looking to lift it 4 inches. My ground clearance isn't very good. a lot of times my fuel tank is scraping the ground backing up a hill.. I called rough country and they told me thier standard 3500 kit would work fine

Well first of all, i wouldn't ever give them my money, especially not if i actually wanted to be able to rely on my suspensions. Two choices, go with Carli or Thuren, if you replace your springs pay attention to payload capacities as softer springs = lower payload. Hit up @Dude_57 @cumminsdieselfreak Dude's Performance and talk about what you are truly looking for. keep in mind, on SRW trucks, 35s fit stock, 37s can fit with rubbing or clearancing both with a level and stock. And being a C&C, you'll need to pay attention to your bed set up clearances as well

yea a couple of those i am watching. i'm also planning on putting airbags on it to help with the loads.
i'd still like to keep as much of the comfort as i can but i am aware i'll lose some of it with the lift. planning on 35s. my truck is 4wd

I'm running 35s currently myself. I would recoemnd just getting the tires now, and then deciding on doing a level vs lifting the truck if it's neccesary

Keep in mind that a lift kit doesn't increase ground clearance, taller tires do.

Also, thankfully you're not scraping the fuel tank, just the skid plate that holds it up.
