Possible with lots of trimming. 22x9 with a positive offset wheel is a lot easier

I'm running 22x9.5 +18 offset wheels and 13 inch wide tires with a reverse level and didn't have to trim anything. I don't know of any 22x12 wheels that don't have an insanely negative offset so it would rub the bumper and the fender. Even with trimming the pinch weld I don't think it would work unless you ran narrow tires which would defeat the purpose of wide wheels.

I agree. I think it boils down to this, with a leveling kit you can probably fit 33's with the wide wheels or go with 35's on a narrower 9 or 10 inch wide wheel. Or install a full lift kit and go with your original tire/wheel choice.

Hmmm. Good question. It may work, but be prepared to do some trimming. The problem is the wheel's width. Maybe some members with 12 inch wide wheels will chime in soon.

I'm running 22x12 on 305 45 (32.8x 11.80) on stock height with T-rex +.5" control arms with trimming (only plastic) and pulling back inner fender plastic with ZERO rub. It can be done, but not without some trimming. A buddy of mine is running 22x14s with 35s and just a level. (loads of trimming lol) Run extended control arms and a level and it will clear easily. Arms aren't cheap though.

I have 20x10s -24 on 35s with just a leveling kit, it rubbed a little but after trimming and a thuren adjustable track bar to recenter the front axle it's all good!
