So as I'm sure y'all know rule of thumb use to be you'll lose 20-25% of your power between the engine and the rear wheels. Looking at the H&S dyno sheet and kind of seeing some dyno results from other sources on diesels it seems as though the truck may only be losing 10% of the horsepower and even less as far as torque. It would make sense as I'm sure technology has got a lot better than it use to be.

What do you guys think?

20% Loss is what I saw during a dyno event...tires play big on numbers also for example 3 trucks all 2012 4x4s with H&S Hot damn on hot ...Truck with 37's laid down 382hp, my truck on 35 laid down 399hp and another guys truck on 33's laid down 420hp...

There's a lot of variance on dynos. How hard the tech straps down the vehicle. Where the tires line up on the rollers. Tire type. Tire pressure and so on. So, that in its self can throw up varying numbers between trucks and driveline loss.

The more u-joints and the shaft angle plays a big part in drivetrain loss to.
