ive searched and im still a bit confused.... i ordered some festoon style LED bulbs from DMM tuning for the done and map lights. i installed the led in the dome light and it all seems to work like it should but when i install my LED in the map lights nothing works when i oopen the door, or when i click the map lights on or off. also if i have the LED in the map light and the dome light at the same time. the dome light glows. what do i need to do>?

i did not have the problem you are having. i used high lumen L.E.D.'s and since the current go's through the ecm i suspect your led's are not drawing enough current. i think that because the glow you see is norman because of not low enough ohms to shut it off. temporarily parallel a regular bulb with it and i think it will start working. if it does, just get higher lumen bulbs

what if i get a resistor and wire it in with these bulbs i already bought that should work right???

That should solve your problem 1/2 watt 330ohm is the resistor I have on mine... My interior lights wigged out doing random intermittent things until I got those resistors soldered on
