there is a better way to go, we changed out all of our bulbs to hid or led in three of our 06's we got most of the led's from superbrightleds.com the festoon led's just snap in and are 2x brighter than oem and with whiter light. the side marker lights top of cab marker, and tailgate light's are also just plug in so is the license plate light's the only ones that need mod is the under hood light needs a bracket bent for the led to fit and the tail light board with the three sockets takes about a hour to fix to get them to work. do not try to plug one in with out talking to me first about the needed fix or you will blow fuses

Thanks for the info fella's..

I was worried as i heard/seen that the "LED" 194's in the RECONs were not replaceable (SEALED) after burn out. Hense the reason i was looking at the above EBAY's..

I was going to replace with SUPERBRIGHT LED's as i've delt with them for the rest of the truck and good peeps.

Are these the replacements?

Rollin Smoke Diesel. RECON SMOKED Cab Lights Dodge 2003-2009

check them out...

i always thought that the Recons were LED's...:confused013:
Are these the ones you have? I guess they are LED's. I was mistaken when i read "194" on a certain site. Now, like stated above, just concerned that they are sealed. I'd really like to settle with RECON as i've had my eye on them for a while. Just need the BA$$S to drill in my ROOF :D

I think on yours, would look pretty sweet, especially with tinted tails.

As for the "pluggin in", you might have to splice as you can see in pics or the lights.Atleast your a step ahead of the game.

Are you planning on running amber lights still?
