So who has changed out all their regular bulbs with white LED? So far I've been able to change out the Ram box bulbs, and the glove box bulbs which all are 194 peanut bulbs. I tried the license plate bulbs but got the EVIC error so going to need resistors. I plan on doing the license plate bulbs, back up bulbs, and possible the cab lights in the pure white LED bulbs. Just need to find out which resistor to use for them. I have the cab camera so thats already LED. I also have my HID kit for the headlamps and fogs from Retro that I also need to install. Just holding off a little bit before doing any drilling cutting with the headlights. Lol

Funny you should mention EVIC error on license plate bulbs. Got same error today after installing LEDs. I've replaced my cab lights with amber LEDs...no problem there. You'll probably need a resistor on back ups, but don't know for sure. Have not tried those. The LEDs sure put out a nicer, cleaner light.

Keep us posted.

Will do, I ordered some 194 LED canbus and 7440 LED Canbus backup light bulbs to try. They should be here by Friday. I'm going to try the white LED in the cab lights since the housings are clear. I think they will look good, we will see.

My interior lights are already led but I did change the cargo reverse and license plate builds. I get a message when I first start the truck but after that don't see it again so I'm not worried about it

^ Thanks buddy. I was actually successful with my LED switch out project. I swapped out the license plate bulbs, ram box lights, cab top running lights, back up/ reverse bulbs, glove box bulb and also installed the Retro shop 50 watt HID kits in lows and fogs. I used all 6k white can bus bulbs. I started the truck a few times and moved it around a bit and so far no error on EVIC. Will post pics soon. The only bulbs left are the vanity mirror bulbs in the sun shades and the engine compartment bulb. Need to figure out what size the vanity mirror bulbs are. They look like a miniature 194/peanut bulb. The engine compartment bulb looks like a sealed housing, not sure though.

Was shocked one could just unplug those yellow bulbs from overhead map and dome lights and just put in an LED bulb which works like SNAP! Thought there was more to it. Now I replaced them all with the proper bulb fitments and its a whole new rig! Today Im putting in the new Viper 5904 Alarm and Remote Start, and som low key blue LED bulbs up under the dash to cast a light blue hue onto your feet area and footwells.

Also, talk about utter love and shock? Finally went to HID up front and the world is a MUCH different place once this is done my friends! Un-frigging-real !!!!

Hmm I thought the map bulbs were already LED. I'll have to check those.

Yes you can, just finding the right resistor that will work and that will hold up to the elements. I've seen some on Ebay that should work. Just really don't like have the external extras. I would prefer the bulbs with built in resisters that worked with the trucks CAN BUS system.
