Do you find yourself driving too fast after its too late? I was playing with my radio the other day and found out that you can have it set up to tell you when you are going XX over the speed limit. I set mine for 5MPH over. I believe this only works if you have Navigation. This is a help... but not something to overly rely on as it's only as accurate as the information the system gets. If a speed has changed recently it may not be up to date.

It works great.
I have seen it change the speed sign display on the NAV screen within feet of a new speed sign.
Makes me wonder if someone drove the entire country and GPSed every speed sign??

I haven't noticed that part yet. That job would get old really quick. Especially since things are always changing. LOL.

Yeah, on the NAV screen it will show posted speed limits and you can set the voice to tell you if you're 5 or 10 miles over speed limit....I set mine at 5 over, but it would chime at 4 over...got on my nerves so I cut it off:)

I love it... but I agree with the 4 over part. I don't mind it telling me what I told it to, but that is it. I guess I should change it to 6MPH.

In my area the speed limit the GPS has is not always the same as what's on the sign. So take what's there with a grain of salt.
