what would be the largest tire size and lift to go with a stock 03 2500 without changing the tranny or gearing or any enginge mods? i have 3.73 gearing i belive and not to shure what transmission i have
your motor and trans. will handle wahtever you decide to throw at it the ? is how much power and mileage do you want to give up, to stay in the land of drivability, everyday use, and longevity i have found on previous trucks that anything more than a 6" and 37's is overkill, but thats just my .02
you can destroy your transmission if your gearing isnt set up to correspond with the tire sizes becasue of your engine not running at the proper rpm's at hoghway speed and downshift on hills etc but maybe that is just gassers?
