Try to pull a 50 year old Azalea bush without digging and using a chain. I could not and I betcha you can't either.
Those babies have got some major roots!
Not a problem, put the truck in 4x, turn on both front and rear selectable lockers, pull up to the bushes or tree with the immense roots running up to 3', 4' in diameter.
Attach 2 heavy straps to the tree or large bush, at the front of the vehicle, slack them and don't be afraid to gas it and lower the air psi at about 25 lbs you should have to jerk them a few times hard while really trying to pull, only to reset when all 4 tires give up traction..
Then you will see you can pull a bush and tree that is just as big below ground as it is above ground.
lol reminds of the one i pulled out and had a 5' hole 3' deep and no dirt to put back in....the wife wasn't thrilled
