So my abs and parking brake light have been intermittently coming on for awhile now. I am hoping it is just a sensor on the front. My speedo has not been acting up which is why i think it is one of the front ones. Do i need to replace the hub too? Or can i just replace the sensor.

Today my "Lamp out" light came on and started dinging whenever i hit a bump. I used the forum search tool and saw that it is probably the connector on the fuse box. Could the abs/PB light from the sensor also be coming from the corroded connectors on the fuse box?

Thanks, Thomas

Yes and yes. The back of the IPM could be rotted on the abs harness side. Check codes to see what they are. Could be just as simple as a bad bulb and a bad hub.

Although could be an ABS Sensor on one of the front hubs or a bad wire.

May be a bad connection in a bulb base/holder.

Gotta check to see what light is out.

Just get new bulbs for the rear of your truck. Do not get the one with the plastic bases but the glass ones. I had that problem with my truck. The ABS sensor in the top of the rear axle might be going out. Do you have any codes?

I took it to the mechanic and my ABS module was leaking fluid which would explain the flutter in the brake pedal. but i still dont understand why the light would only turn on sometimes.

Check your bulbs on the tail lights. Use di-electric grease. But if the bases on the bulbs are plastic change them to the glass ones. I say this because the plastic ones can burn out and cause issues.
