so i have my thuren coils on order and my next purchase is going to be bump stops.
My queston is, is there a big difference between the kore poly bumpstops and the thuren dyskos.
the thurens are 3x the price and require cutting and welding. The kore ones say they are a soft poly bumpstop.
what do you guys think??
thanks

Kore's will only be slightly better than stock. Don's will require a little more work but they will offer more performance.

Don designed his coils to work in conjuction with his bumps. His coils are soft so you need the 2.5'' compression zone of his DYSKO bumps to help slow the axle during hard offroading.

Kore on the other hand has very stiff springs so they dont rely on the bumps as much. Their bumps are really only used to stop the axle.

I would spend the few extra bucks and get the DYSKOs.

Kore's stops are anything BUT soft. I have the red ones, had the black ones on my last truck and they seemd softer. They are some of the hardest poly I have ever worked with. I was unable to even get them into the BS cup using prybars/blocks and my usual tricks. I ended up getting them in by jacking up the axle when the coils and shocks were out just to get them in the cup. They finally popped into place, but the point is, they are really hard.

You'll have things apart anyway, the cutting and welding is very simple...DYSKO is my vote.

I assume your coils are on pre-order. Give him a shout and add on the dyskos. He offers discounts for multiple item orders. He's got some nice endlinks. My buddy's had some on for a year now and they look like new. He'll sell you replacement heims for peanuts(says they're all made in China.) He'll be releasing a King 2.5 system for a very reasonable sum in February when the coils come in.

Should be done pretty soon pitrack. You aklready order them or what?
Yeah paid for them a few days ago, just waiting, going crazy. Haha actually even if I do get them I will wait til it's done snowing here because then if I put them on I will have to adjust my plow mount and don't know if I want to mess with that until summer.
