Im trying to check for codes om a 3rd gen. Can you pull the codes by using the key trick? If so, how? Thanks.

get in and close the door. incert key, turn to on position (do not start) and back to off 3 times fast, leave in the on position on third time and watch under the odometer. should see the code then ------- code ------- done. Depending on how many codes you have.
