Guys and Gals
I just installed a 5th gen bed on my 2010 dodge 2500. I need one of two things... the actual part number and manufacturer for the parts i need or an education on how to know what parts I need.

I need the following things:
Electrical connectors to license plate lights on 2022 ram.
Electrical connector to tailgate handle
Wiring harness or connectors from the tailgate handle to the electrical latch.
I want to convert my tail lights from 4th gen to 5th gen (base model). My 2010 has one bulb for break and running lights plus backup lamp. the 2022 has three sockets for the same features. however my 2010 bulb sockets do not fit the 2022.

Bonus If I can hook up the backup camera from my tailgate to the truck and what this would entail. I only have an analog radio in my 2010. can I use any aftermarket radio or should I go with OEM?

If you truck was a 13 some of this would be much easier. gimme a minute to dig some of this up, the tail lights can work, and there are a couple of ways to do it. So let's start there. Do you want to do it the easy way, and spend more money, or the hard way, and spend a lot more time building a complete harness? Also if @Jimmy07 is still floating around, he is going to be your friend on this. I don't think you can get the reverse camera to work properly, and you will need to do your own wiring and connections for the tailgate handle, but you should be able to get that working if it doesn't rely on canbus...also if you want to keep your factory tail lights they should fit in the 2022 hole, assuming the bed is from a 2500/3500. But for now, i know i can help on the tail lights side of things, so do you want it the easy way, or the hard way? actually the easy way might not be perfectly easy since they are the base tail lights....but i can look into it. easy way might need you to upgrade the tail lights, or the really easy way would be to just use your original tail lights

I would like the “easy way” to me that would be to buy the bulb sockets and I can wire and splice them into my existing taillight harness. Kinda make my own combo for stop, running, and reverse lights.
As for the bumper license plate lights. Just need the snap connector to plug into the bulb housing.
The tailgate doesn’t have to operate as oem 2022 i just need it to open when I need it to. Id even be happy with a mechanical conversation if that’s possible, or a kit?
As for splicing wires. Im a huge fan of the soldering heat shrink connectors, never had one corrode or anything on any of my trailers…

This thread will be very helpful for you

The connectors listed on page 2 are for the 19+ LED tail lights. But the 4th gen connectors and wiring is the same. 19+ trucks have an independent turn signal wire compared to the 10-18 trucks which run stop/turn on the same wire. On the 13+ trucks this can be changed by running another wire up to the BCM and activating the BCM to run the other wire, on a 10-12 truck, i'm not certain what the best route would be. You could always run a new run tieing into the front turn signals for your rear turn signals. LMK if you need help sourcing the connectors, i'm not as good as @Jimmy07 is at finding the ones you will need, but i can see what i can do

As to getting the tailgate to function, here is the thread you'll want to go through

Although if you are fine with "manual swapping" the tail gate, if you have your old one the guts should be able to be switched around, or swap the tail gate. I think the difference is on the passenger side hinge, the one on the tailgates need to be swapped because they changed which direction they are or something. I forget exactly, but if you have both tailgates, a drill, and a welder, you can do it.
