just had installed a pdq triple disc TQ with an alum. backing plate. are these good?
well i bought an 06 cummins with 65k miles on it.and the second day i owned it the TQ started acting up. so i took it to tranny shop and they installed a pdq (apparently the brand they installed) triple dic TQ with an aluminum backing plate. it seems to run real smooth. im just wondering if these are good torque converters? i dont plan to do nothing crazy performance wise just basic afe stage 2 CAI and straight pipe and sooner or later install an efi live tuner for better mpg im hopin. so i jus wanna know feedback on these TQ
