Went to chevron($4.54Gal) to fill up the truck today,it was 30.15 Gals and it came to $137.20. I'm still in a little pain.:thud: I guess governor Palin of alaska is trying to propose a energy cost relief bill to help alaska residents, it's suppose to be a $100 dollars a month on a debit card that can only be used for energy purchases, such as gas, and utilities. Won't fill my truck up,but I guess it will help some people. I think if there going to keep raising these prices they ought to match it with the cost of living and give us some nice fat raises. It's only fair. :thumbsup

Just cut back in other areas, You gotta keep burnin' that Diesel!! :thumbsup
talking about cost of living raises, i know it's a little off topic, but the school my mom works for is trying to take away her cost of living raise, because things are getting more expensive... does this make sense to anyone else? but i'd take a $100 fuel card every month, it'd defineatley help out
welcome to " drivin a diesel " club.
You know where that 100 dollar gas card is coming from right? Tax $! So all those people that dont even pay in much more than $100 are really going to be happy. All the hard woking people who pay most of the tax so the the lazy people dont have to are going to be pissed.
Just reduce my income taxes and let me decide what to spend it on!
Actually that is comng out of our PFD fund so don't be expecting a good one this year if we do get that money.
I saw diesel today at $4.65 WTF
filled up this afternoon $135 bones for 31 gallons @ $4.35/gal.

Just took a .10 cent price hike to $4.59! This BS is pissing me off (has been for a long time). When is that bubble going to BURST! :RANTIN::RANTIN::RANTIN:
once regular unleaded hits $4.75 / $5.00 and fuel hits $5.50 or so, th bubble will have to bust. if not there is going to be riots in the streets and drive by's on oil executives houses, man.

love this smiley - explains everything .

:RANTIN:
I agree eventually something will have to happen. People wont have any money to live and businesses will lose all there money something has to happen! hopefully soon...
$145.00
32.229 @ $4.499
F***
$4.49/gal today, looks like I won't be hauling my 5th wheel for vacation if I even decide to go anywhere.................:$:
I think it's up to $1.55-$1.60/litre where I am... I try not to look anymore, it just pi**es me off.Soon time every tractor trailor in the country parks until the gov't's take some of this tax off so people can afford to go out and spend money and keep the local buisnesses open
Personally I think that if you had truckers get side by side on the freeway, go the minum speed limit in every lane on said freeway in FL for the most part it is 40 mph, and then the truckers put signs or something on the back of the trailers some attention would be gotten. They could argue that they get better MPG at lower speed, and it would cause people to open their mouths to the goverment just my .02
LOL. What about the 7 THOUSAND BARRELS that go to our reserve EVERYDAY. Congress said, " lets quit sending to our reserves, we are in a state of emergency, lets use it to lower fuel prices." ( supply and demand) Bush said NO. Seriously, I thought Bush did ok till now. This stuff is out of hand.
They said this morning on news radio to exoect $7.00 by August on Diesel...And i think the point would get across when every independant FTE shut them down for a few weeks, and the politicians couldnt drink there fancy coffee, and the hippies couldnt eat there tofu
Bush went today to Saudi Arabia to convince some King to allow a 3,000,000 million barrell increase...i also believe this is the same company that his family is vested in...lol We buy oil from them, and sell our oil to Mexico..seems like a great plan.
