Just dropped the truck off kind of nervous now!

So I just dropped my truck off to have the 2.5" leveling kit installed and alignment done. This is making me very nervous right now I just don't trust anybody with my vehicle. It is supposed to be done at 2:00. It's 11 now and I am very anxious I have never had anybody work on one of my vehicles before, but it is just too cold to be laying in the driveway right now.

I feel your pain. Can't do every job yourself, every time, in any weather though. Perhaps they will do a great job and will earn your trust. Always nice when a future resource you can trust again comes out of the experience.
Lets hope they don't screw this up if hate to have to kill this guy for messing up my truck. I figured almost anyone could do it since it is basically the same procedure as replacing the shocks so I let them do it and the alignment.
Yeah, something so basic should be hard to screw up. Its not like anything highly technical is being done there. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
I feel ya. I'm buying parts to change my gears and I'm gonna have to find someone to do the install, but I really don't trust anyone to do it without me supervising.

Well how did it go...
Make sure they tighten the hell out off that track bar and the axle vent tube is secured away from the front drive shaft. I had someone do my level too and those were the two things they missed. Easy fixes but I has to replace axle vent tube as it was chewed up.
Went good I just hope the track bar is tightened as per specs to 185lbs. Drives straight but the tech was pissed the salesman quoted me 1.8 hours to install the kit. It took him 6.25 hours to do it. But the salesman was a good man and only charged me the 1.8 hours. So I thought it would be nice to buy the tech a case of beer for his troubles. I will be back there on Monday for my tires. I'm getting the kelly safari tsr in 315/70/17. Hope they don't rub.
If you don't hear anything while turning to full lock your track bar is tight. If you do just get under there with a cheater pipe forget about the torque spec on that bolt.
If it was just a leveling kit they probably didn't touch the track bar at all. No need. Now, if you had them install an adjustable track bar then that's a different story.

At least he only charged you the 1.8 hrs. 6 hours to do a leveling kit is highway robbery. I can do one in my personal shop, by myself in an hour. That would mean it took 5 hrs to align it...........at least he was a Stand up guy!!

He had no idea what he was doing lol atleast he admitted it. Very good guy as far as I'm concerned. One thing I have noticed though I'd that he front tires are feathering a little I drove about 250 miles today and there was no feathering before the kit. It seems to be on both the inside and outside of the tire. The center of the tire is fine. Anybody have an idea what would cause this?

Alignment is not right. I had the same problem even after it was aligned twice, took it some where else and that first shop had too much toe in. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
