So just put in a turbo back 4" to the muffler. Put in my Torque Tech 1. Holy crap what a difference... So I drove it around on power level 1 (it felt so good I thought that had power but that was just the stock setting.) I let it get to operating temp went to power 2 it feels really good (50hp probably be my daily driver tune.) I put it on level 3 and it actually feels quick for a big truck. I have the Trans tune and it shifts real firm. Absolutely love this. It's a completely different truck. I have had the truck for 22 days. Lol.

How is the sound with the setup you have? Any difference? I will have the same setup (my exhaust and EGR kit is patiently waiting on the tuner to arrive) and cannot wait until the brown truck shows up Monday.

I left the muffler and resonator on and ya it's a little louder thru the exhaust (barely) and the motor is a little louder too ( probably the injection timing.) U can really smell it but I haven't seen any black smoke. Don't waste your time seeing if the down pipe will come out without dropping the cross member BECAUSE IT WON'T. .... it's not hard to do any of it. I never said the truck is fast. I have a 604Hp 521 ci big block street driven Ford torino that pulls low 11's so I know what fast is. I said it feels quick for something that weighs 7600. I'm chicken to run it on 4. It is my daily driver so I need it. Oh ya a second set of hands to put the down pipe on is HUGE. My 10 year old son held it and it saved me a ton of time. I tried holding the pipe up with my legs and it was hard.

I have to change this out every other year for smog. So I am going to cut the stock down pipe behind the convertor so I can take it out next time without pulling the cross member. I will just run a coupling with 2 clamps on it. I'll do the same on the delete pipe if I have to. Wish I would have found some delete plugs for all the sensors. Now I'm running a sandwich bag with a zip tie covered in tape lol. I wanted to try ballons with zip ties but couldn't find any

I just read through Flopster843's write up on his site CarboniteCummins - Home where he mentioned James at RSD has (had) the delete plugs. I will be calling him Monday to get my set on the way. James, if you see this, have you thought about adding the plugs as an option on the packages you offer?

The mileage increase is unbelievable to the point where I wouldnt really believe it if I heard it. I was getting about 15.5 on the freeway. I took it on a little trip yesterday and average 19.4. I was getting about 11.2 in stop and go to work and got 15.7 this morning. So damn glad I did this.

That is how I felt when I deleted. Truck is quick but not fast. Can get out of its own way now. I've been deleted for a little over a year now. MCC on a Mini Maxx make the truck even better, I went with draconian and Ive only been on the mpg tune and its more powerful than the hot box tunes. My mpg went from 13.2 to 14.9-15.3 in town after deletes. Like someone else said a 2nd gen swap and turbo will make a world of difference thats why mines getting studs and a turbo after tax day or early summer before hauling season starts. Have fun!!

You must hand calculate. I know with the mini maxx, different tunes will actually make the evic display different averages.

Example; One custom tune showed 9.5L/100km. The other custom tune (2 different tuners) showed me 12L/100km. Actual milage was 11.9L/100km (hand calculated)

Nothing is more accurate than hand calculating.

Are my actual numbers perfectly done because I didn't hand calculate probably not...... is the percentage increase of full savings pretty darn accurate? I would guess to say they are. Do I go to get fuel a lot less now on the same route that I take everyday? Hell yes. There is a huge difference in fuel consumption.... HUGE. So big I wouldn't believe it if someone told me.
