What did the HVAC one do? A few of us (including me) have been stating that we have poor air flow on low fan speeds.Had my oil changed today and had a few updates and one recall.
1. engine control module
2. doser control module
3. hvac control module
4. amp and radio
5. P26 was a recall

We are having problems with heat flow being poor on low speeds. The service advisor didn't know, that's funny.I dont know for sure. To dang cold here in montana to turn the ac on. When i asked the service person he didnt know either.
When my Service Writer plugs into the OBD2 to get vehicle info and so on, apparently it brings up the latest updates required/needed to be downloaded. Sweet deal and only takes a few minutes to determine.:thumbsup:Any idea how they knew to do the updates, I know the recall will come in the mail I haven't gotten anything yet and I was in for an alignment check last week.
I'm sure if they just punch your vin into the computer it tells them if there are any updates or recalls. We are having problems with heat flow being poor on low speeds. The service advisor didn't know, that's funny.

That's what I thought to. Im sure they entered my vin when they did a reflash for the voice command system getting controlled by my menus arrow buttons, (I don't know how it happened but it was very intermittent).I'm sure if they just punch your vin into the computer it tells them if there are any updates or recalls.
Some months back I took the truck in for something (don't remember) and they performed several updates. One of the updates took a very long time. An hour +. The dealer apologized about the long update. Since you haven't seen a dealer for a very long time you should budget 2-3 hours. How long does it take for them to do the updates? I havent had my truck back to a dealer since I bought it.
The tech who did mine told me it is a quick one, not very long to do.How long does it take for them to do the updates? I havent had my truck back to a dealer since I bought it.
For the '13 guys, anyone verify that the new updates didn't affect your ability to keep the EB on automatically if a trailer remains connected?
