I dont know for sure. To dang cold here in montana to turn the ac on. When i asked the service person he didnt know either.
We are having problems with heat flow being poor on low speeds. The service advisor didn't know, that's funny.

Any idea how they knew to do the updates, I know the recall will come in the mail I haven't gotten anything yet and I was in for an alignment check last week.

When my Service Writer plugs into the OBD2 to get vehicle info and so on, apparently it brings up the latest updates required/needed to be downloaded. Sweet deal and only takes a few minutes to determine.

I'm sure if they just punch your vin into the computer it tells them if there are any updates or recalls.

That's what I thought to. Im sure they entered my vin when they did a reflash for the voice command system getting controlled by my menus arrow buttons, (I don't know how it happened but it was very intermittent).

Im guessing I don't have any updates or recalls yet.

How long does it take for them to do the updates? I havent had my truck back to a dealer since I bought it.
Some months back I took the truck in for something (don't remember) and they performed several updates. One of the updates took a very long time. An hour +. The dealer apologized about the long update. Since you haven't seen a dealer for a very long time you should budget 2-3 hours.

The tech who did mine told me it is a quick one, not very long to do.

For the '13 guys, anyone verify that the new updates didn't affect your ability to keep the EB on automatically if a trailer remains connected?

I should have another update here soon, but I think with the updates I lost a little mileage and certainly lost power when jumping on it.

However, in normal traffic it is significantly better. In a few days I should have a full tank through it to check what the real mileage is and a week after that I will be towing about 4K so I can update the power issue too.

FYI remember how we used to run stronger by letting off a little? Seems like the update eliminated that and it is just lazy all the time LOL
