The June Cummings of the Month contest is live, but with some much needed updates. Please read carefully below, as voting especially, has changed.
You no longer vote via LIKES. The last week of each month going forward, a poll will be added to the thread with all the entries and you will have 7 days (or 5, depending on how quick I am to get the poll up and how well the thread is moving) to cast your vote. This is a more traditional way of running things and based on feedback, will be a welcome change.
You must own the submitted ride.
You can enter 3-5 pics of your ride. I would strongly suggest submitting pics with no people in it (dogs are fine) or at the least, crop them out of it.
Feel free to give a little backstory on your ride. Whether that be the modifications it has, how you came to own it, or just a fun story. Don't be afraid to share your ride's story.
If you have won in a previous month, you can no longer enter for the rest of the year. However, if you have a second car that meets the above criteria, you can enter that.
The winner at the end of the month will win a free 1 Year Premium Membership for the forum and a custom flair under their username. If the winner is already a premium member, their subscription will be extended an additional year.
Winners will be featured on the sites gallery, found here.
Congrats to May's Cummins of the Month winner, @CumminsPusher!
It has a 5inch rough country lift in it with dual stabilizers. 22” Vision Rockers with 37x13.5 Venom Terra XTs. I am currently planning a 500HP build off the Diesel Power website.
This truck is a work horse as it sits. I pull 9-11k everyday for work as I own my own business. I named the truck Jolene, because it’s my side piece next to my wife. I have big plans in store and can’t wait to share with you guys!
1997 12valve five speed. Ordered new, original owner. A few cosmetic items and a few mechanical upgrades. Cold air intake, disc brake conversion on rear Dana 80. spicer differential cover. bilstein 5100 shocks. 185,000 miles. Garage kept. She’s a keeper
Here’s my fully restored 1973 Chevy K30 that is 96 12 valve cummins swapped, this was a father and son project between my dad and I in order to create a bitching first vehicle for me. It took a little over a year of continuous non stop work to complete this project. During the time I was 17 working 3 jobs in order to afford this project. I came to own this truck as it was my dads high school truck that was sitting in the woods experiencing neglect and he decided to give me what was left of it (a good frame and drive train) and let me choose how i wanted it to be built and from there the rest was history.
So now that I’ve had it done for almost a year i’m wanting to build some power and with recently graduating from school i’ve acquired a decent chunk of change which will help me build up the sluggish old 12 valve very very soon. As of now i’m planning to go with 5x13 DAP injectors and 191 Delivery valves along with a head stud kit, 3k gov springs and a mack rack plug and a Borgs and Warner s363 i recently acquired in a deal. along with attitude performances adjuster which is currently already on the truck. But anyhow here’s my baby can’t wait to see everyone else’s
Picked up this beast after a night shift, drove to B.C 12 hours and 12 back. It was well worth it!1991 Dodge W250. Running a northwestfab crossover and high steer kit, red head steering gear box complimented with a borgeson steering shaft. Farfromstock disk brake conversion in the rear along with their big radiator conversion kit with the mishimoto radiator. Running an airdog with a beans diesel sump! Lots more done to her!
I don't know what my problem is, but I like older trucks. I am more inclined to vote for the '91 Dodge over the '73 Chevy though, because the pictures are not crooked.
Well, ladies and gents, here is my 2018 Ram 2500 Lone Star! I literally got this monster today and go and pick it up Monday due to alignement issues and other minor problems! I am new to the group and would like to share my story/come up with this vehicle. I just added a bio in the newcommers group if you would like to learn more information. This is my new, new, new lady in my life and the wife does not mind! haha
1997 Ram 2500 with Cummins 6. Oil changes regularly. Had to replace the starter solenoid contacts several years ago. Replaced ones were beefier; old ones were pitted and burned. My only concern is the life of the front U-joints. Lots of washboard roads where we've been. However, still less than 100K miles!
Thanks!
My 2004.5 HO 4x4.
277K miles and counting. BBI injectors, A/Dog, Home made front and rear bumpers, Homemade bed cover. Smarty Jr. Replaced my 2003.5 3500
that was killed by a Ford in a T-bone accident. dead 3500.
