Has anyone taken the plastic liner out of the upper console ? I’m wanting to wire a switch up and can’t figure out how to get it out. Haven’t found anything useful online either.

I swapped the lid on one that i put in, the 4 screws that hold the top on might be a place to start. There may bea lip that slips under the edge in the front which would allow it to lift out once those screws are out...

I made it to 8:30 on the video before I dropped all future projects that have anything to do with the center console. PIA is right...

Having seen how easy it is to remove mine, I would not rule out a custom console for someone who was motivated. Pulled mine without pulling the seats, 6 bolts, easy peasy...
