I've been eyeing a few trucks at Jeet Auto Sales in Edmonton. Anyone have anything positive or negative to say about this place?
thanks in advance

Bought my 2012 2500 Longhorn from Jeet earlier this month (Dec 2014). Got a really good price, felt like I was treated fairly. I even got a full tank of fuel from them!

I did the due diligence on the truck, they gave me the Car Proof report before I had committed to buy. Truck was one owner, a farmer out of Grand Prairie. I inspected it twice, took it for a test drive, compared prices in both Canada and the US, and did the deal. Would I buy from them again? Absolutely! Just do your homework, do your most thorough inspections and test drive, just like you'd do with anybody else.

The owners are East Indian, but come from Kenya (see, I do my homework!!!). I'm Scottish, but come from Canada. Who freaking cares???

go down yourself and talk to a salesman. I can almost guarantee you'll walk away
I'm at the other end of the country so my dealing have been via email so far. I have had no issues with them.

Oh, one more thing. When I went to pick up the truck (I live about 5 hours south of Edmonton) the salesman came and picked me up at the bus depot and gave me a ride to the lot. Saved me cab fare!

I inquired about a truck there and was immediately asked the typical aggressive "salesmen" questions - Are you financing, how much monthly payment can you afford, are you trading, can I sign you up for a credit pre-approval etc. etc.....

This all before he could tell me if the truck I was inquiring about was even still available. When I said no, just tell me if you have the truck, he just said "we have the truck for you come down take a look and we will get your financing approved". I consider that very poor service and will never buy from a dealership like that - I ask a simple question give me a simple straight forward answer - I don't need your help getting financing if you don't even have the truck I want. That is why I refuse to walk through the door at any "Go- Auto" owned dealership in the province. Those "salesmen" don't even have a computer on their desk and have to ask the manager to see if they can let you use their washroom and won't let you test drive without putting a credit card number down....such a joke.
