It's down to 2 trucks....could someone help me find the best price

Both trucks are Laramie Limiteds. I'm leaning towards silver for ease of looking clean when dirty. I love the black but spider scratches are a fear of mine.

These are the two trucks. I tried to figure out how to find invoice pricing but can't do it on my phone for some reason. I'm reading that I need to shoot for 1-2% under invoice plus rebates. Please help me. I'm test driving tomorrow!!!

Go to edmunds.com. Build and price it there, it'll show you invoice. On a ~~$65k truck, invoice is about 5500-6000 below MSRP. ;)
So $8000 total off msrp is a good deal on either of these? That's what is the current offer from my salesman.
That's about right on a 14. $6000+ $1000 dealer cash + $1000 conquest cash (or perhaps loyalty in your case).

I just bought my loaded '13 Laramie 3500 Dually (everything except Aisin and 5th wheel prep) for about $12-13k off sticker. I was at 1% below invoice using a Chrysler friends and family #. My trade in was $2,000 more than anyone else would give, and they dealer traded the truck from about 600 miles away at no extra charge.

If the dealer threw out that number then there is more room of course. These are "units" to them, in/out all the time. Closer to the end of next week the deal will sweeten even more unless you come back with another offer.

Worse case u get $8000 off, but I would see that as a starting point.

Just for your info, I am getting a 14 Laramie crew long bed with Aisin loaded, so about $65k sticker, and I am getting it for $11.5 k off that. Seems your leaving several k on the table!
11.5k off a '14 is the highest I've seen. Ill see what's left in it and will hold out til the last day of the month if I have to.
Just bought a 2013 a few months ago and received the Chrysler affiliate pricing that's 1% below invoice. My sticker was $54k (Big horn) and the invoice was $45k. Take another 1% off and that was my starting point and then tack on any other eligible rebates. Check out the affiliates website to see if you or your spouse qualify. I work in the financial industry but my company qualified.

As others said with a sticker of $65k you're probably leaving money on the table.

For a little added insight I just bought a 2013 with 0 miles for 14g off sticker price so they have room to move on prices atleast on the 13s they do.

What dealership was this?

I ask because I am being told, I have not seen the invoice yet, that the Big Horn I am purchasing is MSRP 54,565 and Employee Price 47,327. Employee Price is lower than invoice and lower than Affiliate price. Yet your Big Horn, same MSRP, had an invoice of 45,000?

Did you actually see these numbers on the invoice?

Maybe I am being lied to, and need to call your dealership?

Thank you for your help.

If they sold the truck to you for invoice they would pocket the rebates and all of the holdback PLUS the check Dodge sends them when they sell the truck to you. Don't settle for the "invoice" price because they're making way too much money.

There is no way there's 9k spread between MSRP and invoice.

Build one on Edmunds. There's ~~~$5,000 (on a lower equipped truck) to ~~$6500 (on a loaded one) between MSRP and invoice. Then you take off your 1% (friends and family) or 2.5% (I think, for actual ChryCo employees). THEN you take off the rebates. The 2013 I just bought had an extra $3750 in rebates that the 2014s did not have. YES, there is still holdback left at that point (how much, I'm not sure)

I'm not "settling" for invoice price. I am paying Employee Price, which is the lowest price listed on the invoice. It goes MSRP, INVOICE, AFFILIATE PRICE, then EMPLOYEE PRICE.

I just wonder how someone could have the same MSRP price as mine and yet have an "Invoice" Price lower than my Employee Price.
Just test drove a '14 and overall it was really nice. You could take a nap between pressing the gas and getting going from a stop. Punching it from a 50 roll felt strong. Very nice truck but needs some tuning. Now to get the price right.

Let me see if I still have the paperwork when I get home. I may have added a rebate into the deductions in error. My sticker was just shy of $54k

It gets better after some computer learning and you get a better feel for the torque management. Its weird, but I've adjusted.
