Maybe drop time to time and let us know how it goes. I'm not a huge ford fan but i am curious about the Eco boost F150.

Personally my father drives an 11 ecoboost and all I can say is, dang. Fun truck to drive. Hard to get the best mpg's when it just wants you to put your foot down all the time!

I've been checking out those Eco Boost's myself. If you don't need a big diesel then you don't need one lol. Straight pipe the ford, and listen to the whistle lol. those things could be pretty bad machines.

Well i will agree its hard not to keep my foot in it, but i was getting 19 mpg on my way home from the dealer and thats a 2 1/2 hour drive at 70 ish! When i got home i had almost 200 miles on it, the dealer said it would get better about 2000 miles or so!!

Good Luck with that ford! I have a 02 f250 with the 7.3 psd. its the only ford I have ever owned, but it`s been a good truck! Why didn`t you go with the dodge 1500? They are rated at like 25 miles per gallon high way , well that how they advertise them here in Indiana. my first new truck was a 1996 ram 2500 12v 5.9 cummins, traded it off 2 yrs later and went to a 2500 ram with the 5.9 gasser, traded it off 1 1/2 yrs alter and went to a 1999 ram 3500 24v 5.9 cummins , sold it off 2 yrs later and got a new ford f250 with the 7.3L psd, just bought a new to me 08 ram 2500 mega cab 6.7l cummins, my point is you may need it or not but once you have had a diesel you be back in a diesel in a few years. Gasser just don`t get!!
