Do you do alot of idle time?
mine is leaking in the exact same spot. and i o a pretty good amount of idling since its cold as here. but i was curious what that leak would have to do with idling?

When you idle diesels they tend to start slobering. That's when oil starts coming out of seals like the valve cover. It's best not to let your truck idle for more then 10min. Any more you can wash a cylinder and you're "wasting" fuel.If idle can't be avoided then have the pto high idle enabled so the fuel and charging system don't get taxed as much.
got it. i do already have the idle enabled on my truck. its a 03 so it does it automaticly after a few minutes. (kicks up to 1000) so i should prevent cylinder washing from that. its just so cold here right now and i just hate driving away with a cold engine
