I got a 2002 2500 dodge ram with edge performance installed, going down the Hwy on stage 3 it usually shows 19-20 miles per gallon at 68 miles per hour with cruise control on....when I bump it up to stage 5 the mileage jumps tp 22-23 miles per gallon.....
Am I really getting better mil age or is it just the edge fooling to computer in to thinking that ?
Anyone knows why the millage jumps up and if it is true or not ?

Thanks

Edwin

It's called the 'lie-o-meter' for a reason! Any change in tire size, or fueling (as in injectors, fueling box ect) will drastically change the numbers...

I got that on mine too, quad adr turned up and doing 110mph the over head says I'm getting 32 mpg. It's probably nearer to 32 gpm haha.

Yank it out... The "Overhead Idiot" can't be calibrated. Once you modify your truck with tires, injectors, and/or modules then that number is out the window.

ScanGauge II can be calibrated to any configuration of fueling or tires and show a accurate MPG number every time.
