I don't think you are really risking anything. I can't wait till I get the chance to do my p-pump setup.

Is this a dumb idea? what shall i do?
My VP44 went out and I'm getting it p pumped by a shop by me PDW i trust the guy and he does some great stuff on trucks. He had a pump that i could run but is it risky running it on a mostly stock truck for now?

4k GSK
042 dv
high rate cam
high flow plungers
benched
I don't know much about the p pump but I've been reeding up, i haven't seem to be able to find anything about if i need to build up my engine to run this. all thats done is the stuff in my sig. I plan on turbo, injectors, head studs, and o ringed as soon as my finances allow, but is it going to hurt anything running this pump?

It wasn't risky when they put p-pumps on 12v out of the factory.
not risky just run an egt gauge and keep on eye on it, but you should be fine

I found a 180 pump and just had it gone thru, the only parts so far are 5gsk. I am real sure where to go from here besides .093 lines.

AFC mods for full rack travel.
I know somebody will tell me to search but what can be done with the AFC besides adjustment?
