What I mean is...are all clay bars the same? I used a mothers clay bar today and it seemed like it was a lot harder to smooth everything out. Any recommendations?

I just used a Meguires claybar last week. It was pliable and seemed to do a good job. It was my first time using claybar so.... I have had a few compliments on how good the truck is lookin tho.

Clays come in different grades. But all over the counter stuff is going to be the same grade. I have found that megs seems to be more plyable than mothers
