Hope some of you would share some ideas on switch locations. We need a couple switches in our interior for a light bar, aftermarket fog lights and a torque converter lockup switch.

Pics would be great, THANKS

This is where I have a switch for my light bar. You could probably get 2 here and maybe 1 on the other side of the steering wheel. Keeps the switches away from passengers.

Plus they are easy to access if you want to change switches. That piece pulls off easier than pulling dash pieces out.

Got this from ORACLE. I was looking for a nice clean flush look to run my 3 HID lights on my light bar. The ring on the switch lights up red when you turn running lights on or however you want to wire it.

we just put that lightbar one in my brothers RZR. It fell apart and shot parts all over. They never glued the 2 pieces of plastic together. WE were lucky and had another rocker and just switched out the covers and got the cool bar rocker back.

Thanks for the link, I have a hole that needs to be filled on my dash and that one will work perfect

Here is how I did mine. This is my truck that Horn Blasters used on their web page.
I had a Daystar 4 switch panel for a 2007-2010 Jeep Wrangler and modified it to fit the opening in the dash trim. I am really anal and had to do a clean installation.
I did need to cut the dash trim to for the switches and for the brake controller but it's an inexpensive piece if ever going back to stock and fairly easy to get to.
The best place for switches and covers is here. http://www.otrattw.net/home.php
and here is the link to the Daystar Wrangler switch mounting part. http://www.quadratec.com/products/12500_231X_PG.htm

Just a reminder for anyone considering mounting switches, controllers or anything else. When you mount anything in front of your knees, it's a danger in an accident. May sound minor, but it's not, even with your seat belt on your knees can reach the dash.

I've personally seen the results, it's not pretty.

Where jeepstang has his is perfect.

For me, my wife and daughter will occasionally drive the truck, if they were injured due to something I put in there... I couldn't forgive myself.
