intake manifold

i was installing boost bolt and noticed that there was a bolt missing on the intake manifold heres is a picture i found online of the location of the hole.

in the picture it is the hole on the raised up circle. there are threads but no bolt wondering if there should be a bolt there? thanks

That's for the ground bolt on the grid heater. Yes there should be a bolt you're loosing boost out it.
are you sure he'd be losing boost? there usually are no bolts going into manifolds like that without being sealed somehow with an o ring of thread tape or something like that
There's no bolt there, yes it was for a ground for the grid heater. But since cummins uses a graphite gasket there's no need for it. Graphite conducts electricity.

i'm talking about a gasket or o ring to stop air leaks if its actually plumbed into the manifold. which i seriously doubt.

No there shouldn't be a bolt there and no not losing boost out of it, hole doesn't go through intake plate.
